Pressure windows permit the sealing of waveguide components and assemblies when pressurization or inert gas filling is required. Covering a broad range of waveguide sizes windows are available to suit all the popular flange configurations. Good VSWR and low loss over the frequency band of operation ensure minimum degradation of the transmitted signal, permitting the transmission of high peak and mean power levels. Windows can be supplied as an integral part of filter assemblies to form sealed gas-filled units for long service life in harsh environments. Construction is in high grade PTFE composite with an electro-deposited copper layer which is soldered into the housing to produce a hermetically sealed and robust unit. The housing is made from brass with an electro-tinned finish, or aluminium with silver finish. | PERFORMANCE DATA | | | Insertion Loss | Less than 0.05 dB | | VSWR | <1.1 | | Pressure Difference | 2 bar max | | Window Material | PTFE composite/electro-deposited copper | | Housing Material | Brass or Aluminium | | Finish | Electro-tin or Silver |
